Long time no see! Life doesn't always goes to plan, and our infrastructure updates has some unexpected hiccups that delayed things time and time again. We're happy to announce that those upgrades have reached their final stages, and the server is now back open!
We're kicking off this launch by jumping straight into this year's Christmas Event, packed with holiday themed cosmetics, new builds, and new games???

▸ ElytraPvP Seasonal Cosmetics
The Christmas Cosmetics Shop is back in ElytraPvP! The Christmas cosmetics have always been my favorite of all the seasons, and it really shows this year with 22 Christmas themed cosmetics for you to collect. We've got hats, arrows trails, and kill messages! We're planning to sprinkle more in throughout the event, so make sure you're checking back often to scoop up any that you are interested in!
▸ Duels Soft Launch
I know many of you thought this day might never come, but Duels is finally officially being launched, sort of! It is currently live with public queueing, private games, and tournaments! We have so much more we want to do with it, but we wanted to make sure we really had the fundamentals nailed before adding in the features that we think could truly change what it means to be a good pvp server. We're hoping to release a proper trailer with full features in the coming weeks.
▸ Where We're Heading
While we've made significant progress, we're not fully completed with this upgrade. There are still several features that need some polishing or are missing entirely. We encourage you to report any issues you find in our discord server so that we can track and progress towards fixing them!
One thing you'll notice immediately is that Cactus Rush is not quite ready yet. Cactus Rush was our original attempt at this infrastructure upgrade, and as a result it's core is now pretty far behind from how our systems work now. It's going to take a bit more work to get it fully back, but we're hoping to have some more progress updates in the coming days.
With the soft launch of duels, we are also bringing back our old tournament system, this time better than ever! It has already tested to scale properly across multiple servers, allowing us to host up to 256 players in a single tournament! Testing has been small scale, but we are working towards running bigger and bigger tests before eventually reaching official events! Keep an eye out in our discord server for testing opportunities and official tournaments!
It's been a crazy few years, and thank you guys for sticking with us through it all! It means the world to me that you're still here, despite all the ups, downs, and false hopes. I hope that this is just the beginning of a great era for JadedMC.
